Viv was off to a birthday party tonight, so we decided to treat Hugh to a special dinner out… when asked what he was in the mood for, he said, without hesitation, “I’m thinking oysters and a Shirley Temple.” 🦪
My little side project! I’ve been consulting on the interiors for this house down in Cary, NC for 10 months and it’s so fun to see photos as the finishes go in! This is the 2nd floor laundry from original concept to a photo the homeowner sent on a walkthrough yesterday. I’ve loved working on this with you, Ruth and Justin!

They’re up for anything, including traipsing around DC in 97° heat! Did a whole lot of museum hopping for the air conditioning as much as all the wonderful things to discover, plus a few cold treats and dips in the hotel pool! It was especially exciting to see *the* star spangled banner at the American History Museum after having just visited Fort McHenry for a deep dive on the Battle of Baltimore and the whole origin of the national anthem. 🇺🇸
